New addition to the family!

Ok... I promise, we are stopping after this! ...at least for a while! ;) he he!
So, we have a new addition to the family, Shylo is a Jack Russel Terrier and Shitzue mix, she is about 8 weeks old, and she is TINY!!! Oh, so cute! She is still a little whiney, but she is getting along great with Rudy! He has become her big brother and they are so adorable together... especially when they are trying to play! LOL We are definately happy!

ALSO... we have some big news! Kenny got a new job!!!!!!!!
He has been trying to get on with this well known trucking company out here... we feel very blessed because they have been telling everyone, including our neighboor, that they are not hiring but... they took on Kenny anyway! :) I am so proud of him!!! So, hopefully things will start getting better soon!

Have you all seen the the Letterman interview with Joaquin Phoenix?!!? I am so scared that he is following in the same foot steps as his brother. I mean really... what is going on? I am a big fan of him as an actor and always love his movies, but he has seriously gone crazy!

Look at the hair and the glasses! You have to see the clip... it just doesn't seem like the same guy that we have been watching in movies for years! AND... now he says that he is going into R&B music... ?!!?

Well, I saw this clip from the Grammies where Ben Stiller is portraying (essentially, making fun of) Joaquin Phoenix... you have to see it... it's hilarious! He is right on!!!!

New ME!

It is a bit different than what I originally wanted, but I am thinking that I like it!

I guess this kind of cut is in style these days, to have one side a little longer than the other. She also put a hint of red in it because I told her that my natural color shows a hint of red when I am out in the sun.

I would really like to hear what everyone thinks, so let me know!

Last day as a blond!

This will be my last day as a blond! Can you believe it?!!? I am so nervouse and excited! I am cutting my hair tomorrow and having it dyed. I want it to look like this:




I hope it turns out ok! I know that my face is heavier, but I think it will look good! I will post pics tomorrow!!

Our baby is teething!

Well... Rudy is about that age now when he starts to grow in his adult teeth. But, he hasn't lost his baby teeth yet, so he is showing a LOT of teeth right now! I aam getting nervouse for when those little baby teeth start to fall out... I don't want to find them around the house!

I am actually quite proud of him... normally a dog chews on EVERYTHING when he is teething. But, we have provided Rudy with a lot of chew toys and he generally sticks to them. He is such a good puppy!!!

This was fun because I hardly ever get pictures of me with Rudy (I am always the one behind the camera!) I was playing with him on the bed one night and Ken started taking pictures. So... here are some shots of Rudy and "Mama!"

I also thought you all might get a kick out of seeing Ken play with Rudy! He makes his hands into claws and Rudy always gets so excited to play that he starts barking!! I have even gotten him to do it with me a few times! It's adorable!

Mama Mia!

So... my mom came to visit us a couple weekends ago and we rented the movie Mama Mia.



And... I have had ABBA music in my head ever since!!!

In fact, last night I was doing a bit of homework that didn't require much thinking, so I played the album. Can you picture me sitting at the computer, bouncing around in my seat, and singing... all while typing!??! LOL

Needless to say, my husband got a kick out of it when he got home! I had the music up so high that I didn't hear him come in behind me until he whistled... then, I jumped about three feet out of my chair and had, what I consider, a mini-heart attack!!!

Rudy's play date

We have some neighbors across the street who have a couple of dogs and they like to play with Rudy. One of them, Soot, is really small and just tags along. But, Red is of a larger breed and will wrestle and play rough with Rudy.

Rudy was over there today and we decided to take Red with us on a trip to the park... What FUN!!! Ken brought a ball and we were throwing it around with the dogs, but Red was too fast for Rudy and he would always get it.

Then Red found a spot near a tree that must have been pretty nice because he started to roll over and over and over in the same spot... Rudy just couldn't seem to figure out what all the fuss was about. LOL

Before we left there were a couple of dogs across the street from the park that eventually came over to play. They were catching the ball with Rudy and Red and just seemed to want to say hi.

It was the largest amount of dogs that Rudy had ever been around and he had a great time!

Time Flys

Wow... it has been forever since I have been on here! I have been so busy that time is just flying by! I got a temporary full-time job a few weeks ago as a receptionist for a CPA during the tax season. I am REALLY loving it there... it's kind of sad that I wont be staying there.

I have also been going to school full-time at ARGOSY University:

I am working on my BA in Psychology and, so far, I am loving it! Although, full-time school and work has shown to be a challenge, I look forward to getting my degree.

Rudy: I can't believe he is 17 weeks old today!!!

HE IS GETTING SO BIG!!!!

We have a little basket that we keep all of his toys is and it is so cute now that he has learned how to get them out of the basket if he wants them.
