Starting over....

So.... it has been a VERY long time since I have updated my blog and, now that I am a "stay at home mom," I figure I can go back to doing some of the things I had given up on.

A lot has happened since my last post... which was about a year ago. This last February, before our divorce was final, my husband committed suicide. It has not been easy to cope with things, but we are slowly making it back to a "normal" lifestyle. Kyler and I moved with my mom to Minneapolis, MN and now reside in a beautiful townhome. Kyler has his own room, I finally have some space to myself, and I will continue to work on getting my photography going. This really is a beautiful area... there is a lot of cultur and history here that do not reside in Utah due to it being an older state. I am excited to get out and get some pictures taken which I will, of course, share with you all! :)

I will attempt, at first, to post on the blog at least once a week and will see how it goes from there. In the mean time, here are some updated pictures of my little one....

Life is good....

Well, I had my son just over 3 months ago and I have to admit that life is going rather well! :)

I should be divorced with in the next month and am hoping that Ken and I will be able to maintain an amicable relationship so that things will be easy for Kyler. I am excited to be able to move on, date, etc.

Kyler is fantastic!!! What an amazing little boy! He is smiling, cooing, laughing, and we are having oh so much fun playing with him! He is also a very BIG boy!!! He is in the 90th percentile of height and weight, he is taking rice in his cereal, and is already getting oatmeal with fruit sauce in it for breakfast and dinner!!!! He is just ADORABLE!!!! So.... last, but not least... I recently changed my look again!! Thought you all might like to see the new me! :)

What changed?

Ok... I was warned that I would be counting down the days in the end, but.... I didn't expect all these changes!!

I am getting more tired, dealing with a lot of different pains in a lot of different places, my feet and ankles have started swelling, I can't eat a lot, I go to the bathroom even MORE, and with every day I get more scared about how big he is going to be and how bad it will hurt to push him out!! LOL

On the up side... it's almost over and I will have a darling little boy to love for the rest of my life and beyond! I have been thinking a lot about what he will look like, what color will his hair be, will he look more like me or his dad? Will he be a loud baby or a quiet one? Will he be chubby, skinny, tall?? I am just so excited about this miracle that will be brought into my life so very soon... I feel so protective over him already! I hope that I will be a good mom. :D

Why wait??

Ok... I am 38 weeks today! What is this baby waiting for?? LOL All he is doing in there is just getting bigger... yeah, who cares if your mommy has to PUSH you out?!? ha ha ha

Anyway, life is good. I have been truly happy lately while taking the time to relax before the baby comes. I am so ready to hold him in my arms! He is my little blessing and I hope to be the best mommy I can! :D

The business has slowed down... I haven't had any photo shoots since June and I can't seem to be able to get things going where I am living now. I hope that changes because I would like to be able to use the business as additional income so that I can work part time and finish school. Speaking of school... it's good too. I am just doing one class at a time and that makes it pretty simple to handle at the moment. Plus... the student loans are helping with the living expenses as well! Thank goodness!! LOL
